I had to write 5 how-to's for my english class. I like them so I'm posting them. It's a lot of writing but they're funny. Enjoy

1. How to be in Flavor of Love )

2. How to join the piercing subculture )

3.How to work at Pottery Barn )

4. How to cut your hair into a mohawk )

5. How to kill a vampire )

I'm reading "Into the Wild" by Jon Krakauer for my English class. It's pretty good despite what the girl in front of me said. In case you don't know, it's about a guy who graduated from college, gave his inheritance away to charity, then disappeared...as far as his family knew. He spent the next few years traveling all over America, mostly by himself, but sometimes stayed or worked with people he met on the road. He canoed down into Mexico and eventually made his way back, then traveled up to Alaska to start his final adventure. He entered the Alaska wilds never to be heard from again. His starved and decomposing body found about 4 months later in an abandoned bus/bunker. So yeah. The story basically starts at the end, with the last person who say him alive, and makes it's way back. I like it. Tomorrow I'm going to watch 'Grizzly Man' in class. I guess we're gonna write a compare and contrast paper on these two similar stories.

Anyways, while reading this book I keep getting reminded of Mike Bishop. It's the weirdest thing. Everything this kid does, I say kid as if he was younger than me..he wasn't, I can see Bishop doing. I was talking about it to Jesse and telling him about McCandless (the guy) and he agreed. So, I guess there's a class of people out there who feel the need to return to the wild. How or why they choose to actually do it is unknown to me...but if anyone did, it would be Bishop...

I got back from San Francisco last night. It was pretty cool. Jesse and I had a lot of fun running around on Haight. A lot a fucking dumb kids trying to panhandle though. Jesse felt like punching a couple of them in the face. Yeah. I'm totally going to give my limited amount of money to you, even though you're the same age as me and too fucking lazy to get a fucking job. Fuck you! Bagh.

Went to class today and dealt with a lot of ridiculousness. Tried to get parking which was a bit of a nightmare. Got to class, oh A-K in room 1308. Wait. I registered in early December. Shouldn't I have the right to stay with the teacher I chose? So me and this other guy made a dash to that room but there was no one. So we went back and she just repeated herself. We went to 1309 because it was next door to 1308 and that room was packed. It's a lot of crap and I really don't feel like writing it right now. Point is: I don't like the teacher they tried to pawn me off on. I looked online when I got home and I'm actually registered to a 2nd teacher I had gone to and she seems pretty cool. So I have to go to that class tomorrow and talk with her since I don't have the books or the assignments. Ick.

Layla is smiling up at me so I have to go. Plus Jesse is talking to me about guns so....

A lot of shit has happened since I last posted. Finals are done and over with. Winter session starts on the 2nd, though. I spent Christmas Eve over at Jesse's. Fun times. My mom had to work on Christmas so I just stayed over for Christmas morning at Jesse's. On Christmas morning I found out my brother had fallen and broken both his legs. My mom and I rushed out there the day after Christmas. We only got to hang out in San Francisco for like a day and a half. He's ok but now he has metal rods in his legs. He's going to be in the hospital for a bit then be in a wheelchair for 6-8 weeks. Jesse and I came back up for New Years and that's where we're at right now.

I talked with my brother and he said for us to hang out and explore the city. To come visit him in the evening. So...Now we just have to figure out what to do...Any ideas?

I'm pretty stressed out right now. I have my Sociology on Monday at 11 a.m. I have two papers due in my Sculpture class on Tuesday at 3 p.m. I have my Statistics final on Thursday at 9 a.m. I'n trying to study for sociology right now, then I'll write the papers on Monday night/Tuesday morning-ish, then I'll study for Statistics Tuesday night and Wednesday. I also have work Sunday, Monday, on-call Wednesday...So I have to fit in studying between late hours at work and between other finals. Bummer.

The internet is sucking up my life!!!!

Layla is sleeping next to me, snoring away. She's so ridiculously cute... I'm bored. This whole week has been so fucked up, sleep and school-wise... I've consistently slept through 3 of my schooldays this week. So fucked...At least I'm doing well in my classes...

Dude!
